Additional Hebrew Classes for Children

This project is designed for children who want to feel more confident in Hebrew classes, better understand their teachers and classmates, read more fluently, and gradually begin speaking Hebrew.

The program focuses on practical skills that children need in everyday life: reading, listening comprehension, vocabulary, and spoken Hebrew. All lessons are taught in a relaxed, playful, and supportive atmosphere.

The classes are especially suitable for children who have recently made aliyah and still need more language practice, find it difficult to understand school assignments or read in Hebrew, or feel nervous about speaking.

Regular sessions will help children:

• strengthen their basic Hebrew skills;

• understand teachers and classmates more easily;

• read with greater confidence;

• expand their vocabulary;

• cope better with school assignments;

• gradually use Hebrew more freely in everyday communication.

Additional Hebrew classes provide the support children need to adapt more easily at school, feel more confident in a new language environment, and see their own progress.

Classes are held once a week in the city of Nahariya.
