We invite you to support our “Clouds of Glory” community

The Jewish community “Clouds of Glory” was established in 2023 and today brings together approximately 300 people. We are based in Nahariya, in northern Israel, in a border region close to Lebanon.

For many of our members, the community is much more than a place of prayer and Jewish tradition. It is a place of support, mutual care, and belonging — a space where people can receive help, meet like-minded individuals, build meaningful connections, and know that they are not alone.

Our community includes elderly people, new immigrants, families with children, young adults, and IDF soldiers. The community’s activities are guided and supported by our community rabbi, Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Bichman.

We assist people facing difficult life circumstances, provide food and social support, accompany elderly community members and new immigrants, and develop educational programs, including preparation for conversion to Judaism. We also organize projects and activities for children, young people, families, and other members of the community.

Today, the need for this support continues to grow. Life in a border region, under ongoing uncertainty and emotional strain, makes the role of our community especially important. People need not only material assistance, but also a sense of security, belonging, and the reassurance that there is a community beside them, ready to offer support.

Upon request, our community can provide a detailed budget for 2027, outlining the specific needs for which we are seeking funding and how the funds are planned to be allocated.

We are open to various forms of partnership and support. Donors may support the community as a whole, sponsor a specific project, or contribute to a particular area of activity. Even partial support helps us continue our work and provide meaningful assistance to people who need it today.

For each project, we can provide detailed information regarding its goals, budget, expected outcomes, and required level of funding.

All funds received are used responsibly, transparently, and solely for their designated purposes. Upon request, we are prepared to provide financial reports and updates on the implementation and progress of supported projects.

Your support is more than a donation. It is an investment in people, in the development of a strong and caring community, in the preservation of Jewish identity, and in the future of Jewish life in northern Israel.
